Who you'll reach
People come to Taper because they are already trying to taper, often on their own. They've usually exhausted the obvious options and want a clinician who understands gradual dose reduction, hyperbolic tapering, and withdrawal management.
We currently route antidepressant tapering users toward Outro Health and are actively recruiting providers across other categories. Benzodiazepines, opioids, kratom, GLP-1s, and gabapentinoids are all in high demand.
How the directory works
- You apply.
Fill out the form below. Takes about ninety seconds. We review every application personally.
- We verify.
We confirm your license is active and that your practice handles the medications you indicated. We may follow up by email with a few questions.
- You go live.
Your listing appears in the in-app provider directory for users in the states you're licensed in, filtered by the medications they're tapering.
- Patients reach you.
Today, patients tap through to your existing booking page or contact form. An in-app booking and messaging flow is on the roadmap and you'll be invited first when it ships.

Common questions
What does it cost?
Listing in the directory is free during the launch period. As we add features for providers, we may introduce paid placements or premium options. Existing partners will get advance notice and grandfathered terms.
How do you handle patient information?
Today, the directory simply connects a patient to your booking page. No patient health information passes through Taper to you. When the in-app booking and messaging flow ships, it will be HIPAA-compliant and require a signed BAA before any PHI is shared.
Do I need to use any special software?
No. You keep your existing intake, EHR, and scheduling tools. We send patients to you through whatever channel you already use.
What if I'm not licensed in many states?
That's fine. We match patients to providers by state, so even single-state practices are valuable in their region.
Can I list a clinic or group practice?
Yes. Pick "Clinic or group practice" as your role and add the relevant context in the notes field.
